I found the job on LinkedIn and applied online through the corporate website. The process took 3 months end to end. The hiring manager at Veeva contacted me directly (no HR involved) five weeks after applying. With the benefit of hindsight, previous negative reviews should have been a red flag as they are all true. I underwent five video interviews (including one presentation), provided references which were duly contacted, I received a verbal offer for the position, submitted additional information for the job approval request to be processed internally and two weeks afterwards I was told they were not able to give me a contract as there was an internal change of direction.
Overall the people I talked to seemed nice. But the way the process was handled has definitely given me a bad impression of the company, their processes and ultimately their respect (or lack thereof) for the individual.
