Interview
Not professional.
The interviewer was a senior engineer so I was expecting some technology-related questions, but 80% time of the interview was based on asking through every experience and every year on my resume. It is more like a background check, as their concern is why did you do this previous job and why did you leave another previous job. It was quite interesting when the interviewer even asked you why you did not get a master's degree right after getting the bachelor's degree; I never thought during an interview with an experienced professional, someone would care about such a thing that happened over 10 years ago.
And the remaining several minutes were filled with 1 or 2 behaviour questions, so it felt like they didn't care what skills you actually have or can you resolve problems. Not sure why they send an engineer but not someone from HR - if they want to use the interview as just background screening.

Interview
The team was professional, respectful, and very clear in communicating both expectations and the role itself. The interviewers asked meaningful technical and situational questions that truly reflected the job requirements. The process felt transparent and well-organized, and I appreciated the positive and encouraging tone throughout. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend Veevar Systems to other candidates.
5 rounds of interviewing, majority being behavioural interviews. We walked through my previous experience and I was assessed on QA and testing fundamentals and methodologies. Some leetcode easy questions were also asked.
