From initial conversations to the final presentation was about 2 months. I was asked to create two pieces of collateral and present them to a panel. I received positive feedback on the items I created and on my presentation, but I was told they were pausing hiring as they weren't sure what kind of skills they wanted to hire for. This struck me as unprofessional and inconsiderate to have someone prepare work when the hiring team hadn't determined what they needed. They don't use recruiters, so communication was poor and lagged because it all ran through the hiring manager. As others have noted, during one interview round, I was asked about my childhood.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about your childhood. What is a defining experience in your life?
I applied online. I interviewed at Veeva Systems (London, England)
Interview
Overall, a pleasant process where you get to meet a variety of stakeholders within and also outside of your team. The questions weren't too difficult to answer and there were no 'trick questions.'
My role had 4 rounds, including a panel where I presented.
The only caveat was that the company is expanding rapidly and processes can become quite diluted. It took around 3 months from the first interview to the offer.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Veeva Systems
Interview
My first interview was with the hiring manager, not the recruiter. The hiring manager was late, did not introduce herself or the company, and made it very clear she had a set amount of time. During the interview, it was about my previous experience, technical capabilities, etc - typical first interview questions. There was not much time for me to ask questions. The way some questions were asked didn’t really instill a great company culture vibe.
Overall, I think they were very transparent on what they expect from a candidate and it was not an ideal fit for me.

Interview
Intro call with basic questions direct with HM. Scheduling for next interview seemed needlessly difficult and drawn out. Eventually was set for early morning (their request). They then canceled immediately before interview and ended the process. Felt very disorganized and unprofessional.
