Veeva Systems Release Engineer interview questions

Got email for Zoom call and scheduled it in the interview, interviewer came late. then she told me about company and asked me my experience. then she gave me python code and told me to submit it. also told me she will arrange next interview. next day i asked for update and she told me they find another candidate. I didn't understand how someone can find candidate in just one night.
