I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verisk (London, England) in Jan 2025
Interview
I got so many knowledge about the company and the risk modelling sector during interview. The interviewer was very friendly, but quite intimidative with the questions. Mostly skill based question.
HR was a bit annoying with his calls back and forth outside normal hours (later than 5pm) to confirm the date and time of interview
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Verisk (London, England) in Jan 2025
Interview
First round interview over zoom. Asked questions by research lead and HR, both relatively straightforward and felt more like a discussion than difficult questions that needed a set answer. Invited for second round interview, required a presentation on specified topic. This was in person and involved the same research lead and director of the department. Presentation w1as roughly 20 mins and followed by questions on the topic and the job itself.

Interview
All together there was one screening call from HR, then a 1 on 1 call with the hiring manager, then I gave a generic presentation on a recent disaster to the hiring manager and two senior employees, then a final interview to discuss details of the position and make the job offer.
