Stage#1: Online Coding Challenge (Average Difficulty for Senior Software Engineers)
Stage#2: Technical Interview with a panel of 3 senior engineers
Stage#3: Cultural-Assessment Interview
The 2nd stage left a lasting, outstanding impression on me. One of the 3 engineers was a team-leader in the company. All 3 engineers were very passionate young people who truly love what they do. They were very enthusiastic, articulated and most of all committed both in technological terms and in terms of having a common unifying vision that spans "well beyond the horizon" which is truly, truly rare to come by and when you do you know that have come across something absolutely special.
According to the team my performance was sufficiently good to be considered for stage#3. It turned out I wasn't good cultural fit for the company so things ended there.
If you, like me, aspire to leave your mark on this world by applying your knowledge in realm of asp.net microservices, high-availability, high-performance & big-data architectures then Verizon Connect in Dublin seems like an outstanding option for the foreseeable future.
