The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Apr 2009
Interview
Passed the tests which took about 6 hours. We were divided in groups and asked to take a lunch. ! week later I went for the structured interview. 2 Supervisors asked different question but mostly related to telemarketing. When I originally applied I was told that no experience was necessary, wrong. They ask you a lot of questions about sales or past sales experience. I applied for the call center not retail stores. I think they want to hear that you are on the phone often and have some telemarketing experience. The interview was fairly easy but they should tell applicants at the beginning that the job is mostly calling and trying to sell services over the phone.
