I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon
Interview
Initially, canidates are contacted by a recruiter. They fill out an online application, online assesment, and submit a resume. Next, they are interviewed by the hiring manager. If a good fit, then there is the blood test, background check, and submital of everything from normal driver's license and SS Card to diploma and transcripts. I had just graduated college and had a hard time getting that information to HR, and it caused a bit of a snag. I finally had to submit a statement from the college that my diploma is not yet ready, but that I had indeed graduated college.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon (Arlington, VA) in Mar 2017
Interview
The interview process was very easy going. I met with 4 lovely ladies and did't feel nervous at all. It was a very personable interview and overall, I felt very comfortable with the process.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Verizon (New York, NY)
Interview
They did not explain the position as it was supposed to be. It was no where near what they said. The position had much more responsibility and was a terrible position
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Basking Ridge, NJ) in Aug 2014
Interview
I applied online. Three weeks later I received an email for a phone interview with their internal recruiter. Just went through my resume, why I left each job. The recruiter asked me how much I was making.

Question 1
None, the interview was very dry. They probably just scheduled the call to get my resume off their desk.
