I applied online at the Verizonwireless.com website and received a call within a few days. First I had a phone interview that lasted approximately 45 minutes. This call was to inform me of the job roll, benefits, and we went over the Verizon Wireless Credo. I was asked a few brief behavioral based questions and once the interview was over, the man scheduled me for an assessment.
The assessment contained a lot of behavioral based questions, multitasking, and problem solving parts. There were 7 parts total, some timed, some not. After I completed the assessment, I spoke the the HR rep and scheduled yet another phone interview.
The person contacted me for the phone interview, asked a lot of behavioral questions as well as went through the job description. After the interview, she said she would set me up for a face to face interview with a manager and gave me some positive feedback on how to best answer the behavioral questions.
I arrived for my sit down interview 15 minutes early, the HR rep came out 40 minutes later explaining the interviewer was not there for the day and there would be another person down shortly to interview me. after almost an hour of waiting, a friendly gentleman came down and we went to an office where I answered 4 behavioral questions. Remember STAR (situation, task, actions taken, and resolution) when answering questions and be very specific. Once the behavioral questions were complete, I was asked to listen to 4 phone calls and tell what the rep did the best on. After that, I was walked to the front of the building and have been waiting since.
