Verkada reached out to me directly for this role and after 5 interviews, a case study, and reference request - I was given 4 days notice to fly to SF for a final round of interviews, which were all abruptly cancelled at the last minute.
There was no genuine effort to reschedule - I was invited to a 15min video call titled “Interview with Verkada” with a recruiter I had never interacted with, who told me that my application would not be pursued due to “lack of experience” - this was the only feedback provided.

Straightforward process - recruiter screening, case study, then final round with panel. The case was a take-home exam to which you will be assessed afterwards with a follow-up interview. You had about 3-4 days to prepare for the case at home before the virtual interview.

The interview process was well-organized, transparent, and moved at a steady pace. It included an initial recruiter screen, a take-home assignment, a hiring manager interview, and several conversations with team members across marketing and cross-functional teams. Each step felt purposeful, and I appreciated how thoughtful and aligned the team was throughout.
A special shoutout to the recruiter I worked with — she was incredibly kind, supportive, and communicative throughout the process. She made everything feel smooth and low-stress, and her transparency and encouragement really stood out.
Everyone I spoke with was welcoming, and the conversations were a great mix of professional and personal — it gave me a clear sense of the culture and expectations.

Tell me about a campaign that required you to be hacky — how did you approach it, why did you do that campaign, and what made it successful?
Recruiter didn't follow up the candidates after sending request for interviews, showing lack of respect. I reached out to the Head and received no response. Don't waste your time interviewing for this company.
