My experience here is the same as others have said. There are 4 stages: Recruiter Screening, two 30 minute technical screenings, and finally an on site visit to HQ where you are required to present before a panel, complete an additional technical screening, and interview individually with 3-5 people over about 5 hours.
My experience was excellent until after I completed the headquarters visit. Verkada made no attempts to inform me that I was no longer being considered and I needed to track that answer down myself. After traveling out of state (I want to note that they do cover your flight and hotel, the rest including transportation is out of pocket) and preparing a presentation I found this disrespectful to not give a timely response.
After I chased down a final answer I informed that I was ruled out due to a lack of networking experience. That is completely fine, almost all of the team has 5+ years of network experience. However I made it clear that my background is not network engineering, and that would have been evident from a read through of my resume.
I would describe my experience as positive overall with only the two pain points, unfortunately they were not small things, and that’s why I’ve knocked it down to neutral. If your background is in network engineering it might be a wonderful place to work.
