Veterans United Home Loans interview questions

Received an assignment with 3 questions and asked to provide answer. Questions were fair and had average difficulty. It was very very disappointing that I spent 2 days to provide answer and they didn’t even check. After submitting answer I quickly received a general email that my application got rejected. I wrote to the recruiter and asked that if she even sent my answers to the team. A couple of hours later, the recruiter called me and said the team checked my answers and said because it is a role with some level of interaction with stakeholders, you needed to provide explanation along with answers. Why I’m sure they didn’t even check my answers? Because I provided the most comprehensive analysis with in depth explanations and interpretations. I wrote 27 pages, in Latex, with a lot of charts and analysis and even some additional examples describing the solution and they said it’s not enough!! They either expected a book or they didn’t check. To the team and HR: I am sure you didn’t check my answers. It’s not fair to waste applicants’ time.

awesome interview process! they really want to know who you are as a person, your thinking process, your moral values and really invest into making sure you are a right for their team and its a right fit for you as well.
