2 interviewers, one kept looking at his phone from time to time...
A simple process, I did not like the vibes.
They don't pay the parking BTW.
Overall maybe it's OK to work there but not what I'm looking for.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Tell me about a project you have done, challenges, problems etc
the process was as below:
First Technical interview - 1.5 hours - Live coding
Second interview - Call with team leader - 1 hour
Director interview
HR interview
Reference check
Overall, the experience was very disappointing due to an unstructured interview process and a lack of guidance on what to expect or prepare for. The technical rounds themselves were adequate, but the final hiring-manager session felt redundant - a deep technical discussion lasting an excessive 90 minutes. Communication stalled because the interviewer’s English was limited, and the call ended abruptly with their decision not to proceed, despite my having answered every question. Overall, the process gave the impression of a fledgling startup without a clear product vision.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Viber (Ramat Gan) in Aug 2024
Interview
needed a software engineer using golang to make the monolith a microservices, and instead of checking coding abilities of system design he asked me to plan a dir tree of how i would break the monolith to the golang dir code. very unusual question, could have google it up in the role while working inthe position. would be ok to check actual skills.
