I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Gurnee, IL) in May 2015
Interview
I just came in to fill out an application and what told to speak to the manager. She asked me a couple of questions about why I wanted to work for Victoria secret. She also asked about my experience. She later told me about the job and what it entails and that she would give me a call later in the day to schedule an interview the next day with the store manager. Who later called me without the interview an offered me the position with a decent amount of pay well above minimum wage.
Was a group interview. Be prepared and dress nicely. Each person took turns answering interview questions around the table. I worked there for 5 years and quit around 2017. Things may have changed since then with their interview process.

Interview
The manager was very knowledgeable and friendly. I showed up 10 minutes early and she was already prepared to take me back. She gave me a timeline of the hiring process so I wasn't waiting around for an answer.

Collaborative group interview. It’s important to make yourself stand out as you’re not interviewing on your own. On boarding (if hired) is also done as a group. I was hired on the spot during a last minute one on one interview but have never seen anyone else get hired that way.
Ensure that you’re confident and ready to sell. Numbers are important ... almost too important.
Great social atmosphere but important to not get too lost in that world.
