Already being employed with A Wireless, my current Store Leader was fired for not hitting sales targets. They asked me to "interview" with them for the position so I agreed. My District Leader came to the store, asked me one or two questions, then offered me the position--the position was also offered to three other employees. Despite this fact, I still managed to get the position because I accepted the lowest amount of money offered and was told there was no negotiation. I decided that I would accept the position because of my knowledge of the store and the concern that a new manager in the store would create conflict with the staff.
