I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
Probably on the easier side. A coding round + 1 phone interview. The phone interviewer asked generic questions. Mostly related to the projects I had worked on previously. Some other friends were not asked technical questions at all. So I think they don't have the best recruitment process. For instance, I was told I would have another round of technical interview but the recruiter called me immediately with an offer.

Design of a distributed system for managing a basic payment transactions
the interview typically includes an initial recruiter screen, technical or role specific assessment, and manager or panel interviews, focusing on skills, problem-solving, and cultural fit, often concluding with final HR discussion.
The Visa Corp interview process typically consists of a 4–6 week, 3-to-5 step process: initial recruiter screening, a technical online assessment, and 2-4 rounds of virtual or in-person interviews with hiring managers and team members. Focus areas include behavioral questions, technical skills (DSA, SQL, coding), and case studies.

Question 1
What do your parents do for work? Where do you live? Do you commute?
The interview was two rounds with a case study and a personal fit round. The interviewers were very friendly. The case study was an hour long and required some finance knowledge.
