Confusing and Unclear Hiring Process
I recently went through the interview process at Visa, which consisted of three rounds: an initial conversation with a recruiter, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and a VP. All of my interviews went really well, and I received positive feedback throughout the process. However, despite this, I was informed that they had decided to go with another candidate.
What made the experience even more confusing was that just two days later, the same position was reposted—this time at a higher level—allegedly for the person they hired. This lack of transparency and sudden shift in hiring decisions left me questioning how structured their process really is. It felt like they were either unsure about what they wanted or changed direction at the last minute without clear communication.
While the interviewers were professional and engaging, the overall experience was frustrating and felt like a waste of time. If you’re considering applying, be prepared for potential last-minute changes and unclear decision-making.
