The classic hurry up and wait, and in this case, never get a resolution. Got a call from HR about business leader position and talked with them a bit. Then HR wanted me to talk to the hiring manager right away, which I did for about 1/2 hr. Shortly after, I went in for office interview with hiring manager, few members of the team, and hiring manager's boss. Each was an individual meeting, not a panel interview. Questions asked were mainly of the "tell me about a time when..." type. I believe there was a hypothetical "if you could change a situation where..." type question as well. The interviews themselves were standard and not particularly difficult.
Both HR and hiring manager said this was the final round and they'd let me know in a few days. Never heard from them again, even after multiple follow-ups to HR and hiring manager.
If I come in for an interview, I think it is courtesy to close the loop, regardless of the outcome. Needless to say, I'm not impressed with the company, which is disappointing because I thought this particular business group would be interesting. From what I know of the current company culture (reading some employee's reviews for Visa will give you a sense) plus my negative interview experience, Visa is not a choice employer for me.
