Applied for the position on their actual website.. Received an email (less than a week) stating that they liked my experience and wanted to schedule a phone interview..I followed the link from the email and scheduled phone interview..It went well, and I was scheduled for a face to face interview at the location that I initially applied for, with the route manager..After ensuring the route manager on how much of "dependable hard worker" and "team player" I was, and relaying to her just "how much the importance of safety was to me", I left the interview quiet confident they'd call..less than a week passed and I received a call asking if I was still interested, which I accepted..Received offer letter, onboarding paper work, background, physical and drug test forms via email.. Signed, filled out everything and off I went to the clinic..3 days later I received a "Welcome to WM" from the route manger that i'd interviewed with prior..i start in 2 weeks!! whole process took a little over two weeks from when initially applied online.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WM (Northwood, OH) in Nov 2022

Meet with someone and they go over all the great benefits, time slots , type of truck and a lot more info. Wast management seams to be a great place to work if you can get in the door.

Interview
It was very quick to get a response and a very easy process. You first are asked seven to 10 questions that are pre-recorded. If you answer the questions with answers they like, then you'll receive a phone call shortly after that and they will give you an on the phone interview. If you pass that then they schedule an in person interivew.

Interview
I applied January 20th 2021, Right after I applied I got an automated email to record some voice answers to questions given by a robot. A few days after that I got a call to schedule a phone call interview with a recruiter from waste management. The recruiter did not call at the scheduled time which we agreed on so I sent an email and they apologized and said they would call me in two days which they did. The call was good it was just basic questions and how waste management is all about safety and if I would be okay with the job duties and drive cam. The interviewer said I did a good job and he would pass along the good feedback. My last contact with them was in early February. It is now MARCH 21st!! I have sent a follow up email and get no response and on the website it just says my interview is being reviewed by a recruiter. Overall it was not a good experience because they did not call at the time agreed upon and also I’ve waited two months since when I applied and I don’t get any kind of follow up not even an automated email to tell me I didn’t get hired!! Very bad that they drag the interview process
on for so long and I feel like they are disorganized with it due to covid.
