Overall, the process was smooth, with clear communication from both the recruiting and onsite teams. The hiring manager and panel interviewers were experienced, passionate about the company, and provided insight into the organization's direction. The questions were straightforward and focused more on fit rather than technical depth.
The only downside was the interaction with the regional VP. Their demeanor felt noticeably different from the rest of the team—coming across as distant or dismissive. The final round with the VP was a standard resume review, similar to a recruiter screen, without deeper discussion on leadership style or personal approach to management. The most concerning moment was when the VP concluded with, "I'm all done; I have a good sense of who you are," despite only covering my resume at a surface level.
That said, the overall experience with the WM team was positive. The people were professional and welcoming, though it may benefit the company to bring in fresh leadership perspectives at the senior level.
