I applied online and within a week I was scheduling a panel interview. In performing my due diligence, I noticed most people underwent two steps between applying and the panel interview.
I had previously applied for this exact role using the same resume and never got a response, so I was surprised that I was fast-tracked.
I went into the interview knowing little to nothing about the role because even the job posting was vague.
While everyone in the interview was nice and affable, it was clear that this was not the role for me. The person who would have been my direct supervisor said that he never had a vacation and that as soon as I was hired, he was going to take one. The person who held a parallel role within the office indicated that it would be a 60 to 80 hour a week role.
The questions were nothing out of the ordinary, but they also could not answer most of my questions including why I was being fast tracked.
