Interview
Well.... first where do i start! I applied back in Dec 2017 for the transportation manager position, never heard a word. finally 3 weeks later i got a call from one of the recrutiers. At first her vibe was a little" IFFY" it seemed as if she was just going off of a peice of paper rather than actually engaging with me trying to see if i would be a gold fit. she asked me very blunty. "why you want to leave your current company and come to waste management!" the convo ended she said that sje would give my info to the hiring manager tje veru next day and she would reach out to me further info. 1 week went by did nor hear anything from her. so i called ro check the status with her, she was nasty to me and stated that shes been really busy and when she heard more info she would convey to me! another week went by, finally she called me and said the hiring manager wanted to meet with me the next day.
the following day i met with the manager and had an interview that lasted 1.5 hours. I gave them details on my experiences with managing hazardous waste, mentoring and coaching employees. they seemed to be very impressed. but stated that they had 4 other people to interview. they want to make sure they hire the best talent.
i have an extensive background in envrionmental services and mangement. if they don't hire me truly it would be their lost.
