I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WSP (Adelaide)
Interview
Online interview and an in-person interview. First online interview felt more like a relaxed chat with the direct manager while the second interview was more professional which included the direct manager and the engineering manager. No technical questions were asked instead it was more thought process-driven questions and overall experience questions.
HR screening meeting online, followed by background checks, then an in-person technical interview with two team members. The process was efficient, with quick feedback provided at each stage, making it a smooth and well-organized hiring experience overall.
After you apply, a recruiter screens your resume, then you have one or two interviews that focus mostly on behavioural questions, your past project experience, and why you want to join WSP. Some teams may add a small technical discussion or an assessment, but many interviews stay conversational and resume-focused. If references check out and both sides feel it's a good fit, they move to the offer stage.
