I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WTW (Houston, TX) in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied through my university and spoke to them at our career fair. I had an on-campus interview about a month later. The interview was very conversational with basic questions (how did you hear about us, why consulting, questions about resume, etc). The day after the interview I recieved an email asking to come to their Houston office for an on-site interview. The questions were mostly conversational and based off my resume. There were a couple behaviroral, but nothing difficult. They really just wanted to get to know my personality and different skills I had. They said we would hear back within a week so I am still waiting for the decision.
Two rounds of behavioural interviews. One with a more junior position and another with two directors. Standard questions. I was asked about specific bullet points in my resume and to expand on past experiences, even if they were not related to consulting or my line of business
after applying, received an email for the HireVue interview the following day. After completing that, I received another email with interview details, where I was asked to choose a schedule with the lead associates. I also received a follow-up email from HR asking me to take an assessment. After completing it,
A WTW recruiter emailed me about my application/resume stating she would like to set up an interview and asked for my availability. I responded on the same day with my availability but I received an auto response in a foreign language (I believe it was in Dutch). I forwarded my response email to the recruiter again to ensure she received it, but once again I received the same auto response in Dutch. Two weeks went by without any follow up response from her, and then I received a generic email thanking me for my application but they are not moving forward with my application at this time. No explanation from the recruiter. Is this a scam? Or are they just this dysfunctional at first impression? Not sure what happened here but I feel like I potentially dodged a bullet.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked for my availability to interview, but then didn't follow up to my response email. Then sent me the "sorry Charlie" email that I wasn't qualified. Never got the actual interview. Very unprofessional.
