      Technical Support Engineer Interview

      May 6, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Phoenix, AZ
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at WalkMe (Phoenix, AZ) in Mar 2021

      Interview

A total of 5 interviews, assessment, and all to not get a job offer! BEWARE: the hiring process takes so much time and effort, be willing to accept a rejection even if you put in too much out of yourself. 1st interview is with recruiter. They ask general questions about background and go over the role. Second, they send you an assesment for you to complete. They want you to install their software so you can try it out. I spent about 3-5 hours learning how to use it and implementing it myself on a website because part of the assesment is to use their software on any website of your choice. The last 4 interviews were back to back 30min each for a total of 2 hours in one day. First two interviews, you meet and interview with people with totally different positions within the company and they go over to ask you questions about your background, scenarios, and about yourself. They also talk about the company. The last two are with technical support supervisors which go over your assessment and the use of the software on the website you chose. What really messed me over was the fact that they never enabled the access on the software needed to even create a decent walk-through! I was limited to 5 steps per walkthrough so by the time I got through the technical interview to show them my walkthrough, it was messy!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you answer this customer issue? And provide you with a sample issue they are having with software. (They expect you to learn how to use it and provide an answer)
