I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart Global Tech (Portland, OR) in Jun 2023
Interview
Complete candidate assessment, then got called back for a Karat interview. That was a quick elevator pitch, 10 minutes of programming related questions where you choose two topics from a list, then 45 minutes of programming questions, 2 questions. No offer yet, but 2nd interview should be scheduled soon
Neutral experience
Easy interview
Application
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Walmart Global Tech (Bentonville, AR) in Oct 2025
Interview
Met with recruiters at a WiCSE career fair where I was able to submit my application to somewhere it would actually get seen. Took an OA with two parts. First was leetcode style easy/medium and second was fixing bugs in a backend to make certain tests pass given an AI assistant. Only got 2/6 test cases and still got emailed for an online interview. The interview was technical/behavioral but no explicit technical questions (leetcode style). Interviewer was mediocre but questions were easy.
