I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Walmart Global Tech (Bentonville, AR)
Interview
When you apply there is a skills assessment where you play games.
Close to 2 months later they will email you if you have passed the skills assessment to schedule a Karat technical interview. My interview on Karat went well, there were a couple technical difficulties but the interviewer was very knowledgeable and provided great feedback throughout the duration of the interview.
The second round was labeled as the final and would consist of technical and behavioral, however in my experience it was essentially another technical interview. I did prepare for behavioral questions but was not really asked any.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The Karat interview consisted of general knowledge questions about two different computer science topics and the coding portion was a hashmap question and the final consisted of a two pointer question that built upon itself.
It starts with some basic Java/Springboot/Kafka (producer and consumer etc.) questions, and then use Google docs to write 3 Leetcode questions(Easy to Medium) about String and HashMaps. Took around 40 mins.

I interviewed at Walmart Global Tech (New York, NY)
Interview
I passed all the interviews only to be told at the end that they didn't have the budget. It took about 2 months. It was probably delayed because of budgeting issues.
I interviewed at Walmart Global Tech (California City, CA)
Interview
My interview began with an introductory call with the hiring manager, followed by a technical round led by an engineering lead, who probed system design, coding approach, and problem-solving communication.
