I have so far only been through one recruiter call and just finished the first round, have no idea how many more rounds are coming up, but I'd still like to share my experience:
- I was first reached out by some virtual assistant for 30 min phone interview and the lady seemed so clueless and literally read out every bullet point of the job description and asked for my YOE (and I really find that unprofessionally hilarious and waste of time). She never gave me a chance to ask her questions about the position because whenever I asked her something, she said it will be discussed later with the recruiting team, so I already had a bad feeling, but I still got an email to schedule a virtual on site with the team and I gave it a try.
- The one hour interview was even more chaos because the interviewers would ask you a lot, I mean a lot of random textbook topics as well as tech stacks that you don't necessarily have experience on. Everyone I encountered from this company just love to read out their list of well-prepared questions.
The interview experience was terrible because the whole process was just so so scripted and I felt no real interaction with them at all. Still haven't got the result from the first round but it was bad enough. Also they expect you to move to Arkansa and as far as the conversation I had with the lady who called me, they will try to low ball you hard on the salary.
