Too many red flags hinting at chaos from behind the scene. I'd recommend anyone who is not desperate for a job to look elsewhere.
The first part is hackkerank challenge, have to be completed in 1 hour. I applied for a frontend position, so I expected only JS questions. For some reason, they included SQL and C# questions in there, none of which are mentioned in the job description. It seems they use one hackkerank test for all positions. Big surprise and red flags one.
The second part is a 1 hour interview. The interviewer was not prepared, he didn't even have access to an IDE, he told me to type the answer for coding questions in the zoom chatbox. Red flag number 2.
After that, there was supposed to be one final long interview. I waited 4 weeks with no reply (I was told they would get back in 1 week). I can't contact anyone from Walmart since I was never assigned a recruiter or any contact detail. Everything is communicated through automatic noreply email. Red flag 3. Then I received a call saying I was extended an offer. Declined that offer the next day. I got an offer despite not having a second interview, so something went very wrong with management at Walmart, or they're so desperate they would hire anyone.
