Bad Experience. Seems like they interview a lot of candidates for few positions. Then they choose the one who expects less compensation and "put on hold" other candidates. I was one of them and I know my friend who was also, like me, put on hold.
Now about the interview process. It wasn't that hard. There were 5 rounds (including HR). First-round and Second-round was about DS and Algo. The third round was more about Java and your projects. The fourth was with the Hiring Manager, who asked about my projects and goals. The last round was the HR round and what a horrible HR he was. He asked me to join at the same current compensation that I'm getting for a year. When I told him that I'm about to get a hike in my current organization and that's why I expect a little more, he said he'll come back with the approval. Few weeks passed, I didn't get any update. Then I called the TA a few times and I was told that my candidature has been put on hold. And after a few days, when I called the TA again, he said that they are not proceeding with my application, without giving any explanation. Beautiful.
