I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (New York, NY) in Jun 2021
Interview
If you pass the assessment, you’ll get a call or email to schedule an interview.
Interviews can be in-person, by phone, or via video depending on the store.
Usually one interview with a department manager or assistant manager.
Sometimes there’s a second interview with a store manager, especially for full-time or long-term positions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you handle an upset or angry customer?”
“I would stay calm and listen carefully to understand their concern. I’d apologize for the inconvenience and look for a solution that meets their needs, such as an exchange, refund, or getting a supervisor if needed. My goal would be to make sure they leave satisfied.”

Interview
large tabled interview with 15 staff, round table interview approach where each speaker had the chance to answer one by one. pretty unformal approach creating a relaxed atmosphere where I was comfortable to speak.

Interview
Very simple but can be nerve racking because at times it’s done in groups. But other than that you just need to sound confident. it doesn’t really matter if you answer the same as the other person you’re interviewing with as I said,
just sound confident
Group interview and speed questions where it is similar to speed dating. You are given scenarios and you have to communicate how you would solve the issue. Overall it was a relatively easy interview if you have customer service experience.
