The tech managers were good. And the questions relevant.
Highly biased. One senior exec in Bangalore biased towards one south Indian linguistic community. Asked the question on performance potential matrix
That it if. If you didn't know the answer the interview is over. Does not matter if you have cleared all other round tech rounds or if the hiring manager is interested in your candidature. This senior guy comes up with excuse to hire from his own community, senior guy is a nutcase. Though he is not the hiring manager ensures to influence all hires in the company.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walmart in Feb 2025
Interview
The recruiter responded within 2 days of my application, and was both accommodating and informative, and I spoke with the hiring manager within another 4 days. Then I heard nothing for almost 2 months after the hiring manager interview. For any level at an organization, and especially one as a Director, a candidate is owed at least a biweekly update of the process. Very poor experience and also will lead me to not shop at Walmart again.
