I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Kitchener, ON) in Mar 2013
Interview
I applied online, went through multiple choice questions and a personality assessment all of the answers were double edged swords, as in I've never been late to work yet I'm answering a question about myself being late to work. Afterwards if you pass the section you get called and you are asked more questions, the most notable being the hours and days you could work.
After that the final interview takes which is a group interview, with 5 interviewers. My session had 6 applicants all for different positions and we had to roleplay and act out a disgruntled customer trying to buy an alarm clock. One person played the customer and one played the employee. After the roleplaying finishes you rotate through each interviewer who asks you questions for around a minute each. Then you shake hands and leave.

Question 1
What are your hobbies?
What days are you available?
Very simple and straight to the point. Management asks basic get to know you questions but truly wants to know if you are reliable and dependable. They want to ensure you will show up to work.

Anxious to see what the starting rate is.

Was quick and easy! Showed up for hiring event and got hired on the spot! And started working like a week later. Been a good company so far. Spoke with Kiera. She is very nice and understanding.
