I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (North Bergen, NJ) in Aug 2011
Interview
a lot of questions digging into how you would react as a manager. preferably something that actually happened to you. you could use your real life school/work experiences to support your answers. you meet with the market HR manager for one on one then you meet with an assistant or a co-manager or even a store manager for a panel interview.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to solve a problem where the solution was not immediately apparent. How did you come up with the solution? What resources did you use? What was the outcome?
Interview process required several interviews. First you interviewed with the store manager typically by phone or by zoom. Then the next interview was with the market manager or member of the market team.

Tell me about an experience when you had to overcome change and adapt to a new work environment.
Fairly streamlined and quick, friendly interviewers made it comfortable, there was no waiting room for the interview but nonetheless it was not a hassle,
They called to inform the position after 3 days
Very long and drawn out process with no compensation discussion until the very end, needs more transparency in my opinion, otherwise fairly painless process overall. Definitely not one to be intimidated about.
