I applied in-person. I interviewed at Walmart (Montreal, QC) in Feb 2012
Interview
3 interview. One with home office, one with store manager and one with distric manager. The first one determinate your skills and schedule availability, second one to meet manager and ask you question about future and what he needs and want and third one for about the same things to confirm you are what the company wants
Interview process required several interviews. First you interviewed with the store manager typically by phone or by zoom. Then the next interview was with the market manager or member of the market team.

Question 1
Tell me about an experience when you had to overcome change and adapt to a new work environment.
Fairly streamlined and quick, friendly interviewers made it comfortable, there was no waiting room for the interview but nonetheless it was not a hassle,
They called to inform the position after 3 days
Very long and drawn out process with no compensation discussion until the very end, needs more transparency in my opinion, otherwise fairly painless process overall. Definitely not one to be intimidated about.
