I submitted an application on Indeed, and received an email within a day or two from Jesse, the Recruiting Manager for an interview. The interview was a phone interview, and lasted about 40-45 minutes. I thought it went pretty well. All of the roles I would be recruiting for, and the volume I would be responsible for was right in line with my background. We seemed to build rapport and get along well. I was told that next steps would be to complete a group interview with the team- that they are pretty picky with who they bring on board, and I should hear back the following week. Since it was right around Christmas, I expected there may be some lag in feedback. I reached out on two seperate occassions via email very respectfully asking for feedback, or if they had moved forward with other candidates, and heard nothing. As a recruiter 8+ years, if I screen, or move a candidate forward to interview, I make sure they get a call or email notifying them if they've been selected. Even if it's just an automated email, it's the humane thing to do. Since I interviewed with the MANAGER of this department, I thought I'd absolutely hear back one way or another.
