3 problems namely to find a bug in the code, to implement a pattern into code and finally to implement a mathematical equation to the code.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA) in Feb 2018
Interview
The interview process was pretty smooth and straightforward. The follow up after each interview is super quick.
Phone Screen -> Coding Challenge -> Technical Interview -> Personality Interview -> Phone call with offer.
Phone Screen: Read about the culture at Wayfair and questions related to 'why do you want to work here'.
Coding Challenge: its a 24 hr take home coding challenge. Also, they asked me to give them a sample of prev projects/code that is quite complex that showcases my coding abilities. Make sure that the code you submit following the standard coding guidelines (ex: comments). Try to write easy-to-understand code.
Technical: Initially they ask you explain the code you had written in the coding challenge. Be sure to explain it as clearly as possible. You are then given some PHP code and asked to find the output. The code is pretty simple, you can ask for any syntax of PHP and keep talking while you walk through the code. After this, you are asked to solve 2-3 coding questions (lang of your choice).
Personality Interview: Asked questions like "conflicts with coworker/teammate and how you resolved it", "the time you made a mistake and how did you rectify it". Similar questions.
Recruiter set up one more phone call to verbally give me the job offer and answer some remaining questions that I had.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Wayfair in Oct 2018
Interview
Awesome, quick, interview process that really gave me a feel for the program.
HR Screen -> Coding Challenge -> Phone Technical Interview -> Behavioral Interview -> Offer
Coding challenge consisted of some simple array manipulation questions, some SQL, and some stuff relating to class inheritance/abstraction. Technical interview was over the phone with an engineer, where we simply made some additions to my coding challenge code. The behavioral interview went well and I really got a feel for the company culture as well as what I would be able to expect for the program. Overall, it was a great experience and I thought that I vibed really well with everyone I talked to at the company. Received a phone call with an offer about a week after the behavioral interview.
