I had a 30 call with one of their recruiters after applying online and went to WeWork London about 3 weeks later where they held a 4-hour assessment with a group of other applicants. We met all of the current member support team / managers, did introductions and got to know each other a little better over breakfast. We then split into two groups- each group did some tasks as a team (answering support questions whilst we were assessed on how we answered them, wrote responses to emails and worked as team) and then we did individual interviews with 4 members of the management team (2 in each quick-fire interview). We then mingled a little more and had lunch with the team and other applicants. The experience on the day was great and I came away feeling positive that I'd get through to the next stage. However, I've had to put that I've had no offer even though I technically haven't had a no from WeWork - this is because I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING BACK. I kept in contact with some of the other applicants on my assessment day and one of them got rejected as she got a call about a week later. Another applicant who I stayed in contact with also has heard NOTHING. I have chased via phone once and sent multiple emails where I got several explanations back such as "The team will be collaborating feedback over the next couple of days so you should hear but the mid/end of the week", "due to some of the team being on annual leave it has been difficult to collate feedback this week", and "The team are just currently aligning on exactly the headcount they will require" but never a definitive yes or no. I think this is highly unprofessional to ghost applicants after we took time out of our day to attend the assessment. It's left me with a negative view of WeWork which is a shame as I got such a good vibe on the day.
