Applied online after reading about them in TechCrunch. Was intrigued by the idea behind the company and the visual aesthetic of the company overall. I applied online and was reached out to to come in for an interview 2 days later. Before accepting the interview I did more research on the company + culture to ensure it was a positive environment. Was highly discouraged by the company reviews, overall culture, and feedback from past and current employees. Since I didn't have a good vibe, I decided to decline the interview. I had (3) employees email me requesting to talk on the phone as to why I would decline and how I would be a great applicant. I decided to hear them out and after listening to them on the phone I realized I made the right choice by not pursuing this position. The employee had only worked there 3 months and was continually on the defence. Seems like a very young company, early stages of growth, however growing to fast to maintain stability. If you are a mid level/ senior level professional- make sure you do your homework.
