A 1 to 1 video interview with the HR. Friendly HR representative who shared a lot of what the job entails. The interview talked more than asking me questions. I think all was good but eventually didn't get the offer.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at WeWork (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2018
Interview
From the initial interview request through selecting a time/date on the recruiters calendar, the process was fairly easy. The interview went well and the recruiter provided a good insight on the position. However, like many recruiter out there, this recruiter promised to get back to me within a week. I sent a thank you follow up note via email and after I did not hear from him, I sent him a follow up email requesting further information about the position. Again, WeWork's recruiters failed to reply and now a month later, I figured that WeWork selected another candidate for the position.
I spent several hours reviewing interview reviews on glass door regarding WeWorks culture, both positive and negative, what to expect, and read many negative reviews pertaining to recruiters.
I can now attest to the dozens of interviews on Glassdoor that the recruiters that work for WeWork either simply do not care about their jobs or care less about hiring qualified candidates.
Recommendation: be a good human being and at least reply back to those job seekers. We get it, you are busy; however, by lacking to reply proves that these reviews are correct.
