I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets
Interview
Although I missed their calls several times, Wegmans was persistant and helpful with trying to get me in to interview. When I arrived, I waited with another interviewee for a short while before one of the bakery managers came. We interviewed in the cafe seating area, which leant a very laid-back atmosphere to the whole thing. This was great, because I was able to really show off my attitude and charm.

Applied online and was called same day. Phone interview was scheduled for a few days later - it was approximately 30 minutes. the rep talked about the position a lot, there weren't really a lot of questions. Called back same day to set up second interview which was in-person. Very positive experience speaking with store HR manager and Bakery supervisor.

I applied online. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets (Alexandria, VA) in Mar 2019
Interview
WAAAAAAY. too complicated. For goodness sake.....I have top secret clearance and this was even more annoying.
I was looking for part time work and the whole thing went as follows: Applied at the middle of March got a call back a few weeks later. Then an interview with bakery manager and Hr person. That interview took about an hour or so, Then I was offered the job based on background checks and for whatever reason a consumer report. Which I happen to think is pretty invasive. My credit report is up there but still.....why? Then I got a call back because there was a date discrepancy at another retail job and I had to plead my case. Then days of waiting. All in all.....it took nearly a month and in that time I started another job . Turned them down. It's a shame too because I really did want the job but couldn't wait any longer.

Question 1
Weird random questions like what is the best thing you ever sold or how would you go about completing a project.....
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets (Liverpool, NY) in Feb 2018
Interview
I applied in early Feb and it took them 2 and a half weeks to get back to me and to schedule the phone interview. The phone interview lasted about 25 minutes and was difficult as the interviewer kept asking me questions that had nothing to do with the position over and over again. I did get forwarded to the store for an in person interview a week later and when I arrived it was with 2 people instead of 1. They asked me standard questions, and asked me my pay requirements but wouldn't tell me the pay range they were going with. I was told I would be called by the following Tuesday but never got a call back.
