There was a first round screening call to make sure your goals aligned with the job posting which was then followed by a standard phone interview with the district manager

Incredibly odd interview. I’ve never had a recruiter be so dull and lifeless. She asked a plethora of questions that seemed unrelated to the position. When I told her I was willing to work overnights Friday - Monday she scoffed that I couldn’t work Tuesday - Thursday because of school. What retailer doesn’t want an employee committed to working the hardest shift to fill? She had zero personality and seemed bored. Complete opposite of what I would have expected from Wegmans. It felt cold and scripted. I was just applying for some extra cash. I’ll use my education and experience somewhere else. For a regional grocery store, Wegmans acts like they’re Disney.
