To say this was a disappointing interview is, well, an understatement. Here's what the hiring manager said, verbatim, to begin our conversation: "Well, we couldn't find what we wanted, so I guess here we are."
Way to set the mood.
The rest of the conversation was a master class in watching someone with no product management experience justify their title as a Product Manager.
To top it all off, I was ghosted by both the hiring manager and the recruiter, and once I was finally able to extract a response, I was given the same boiler plate response every other company provides.
The hiring team over at Wells Fargo does not respect candidates, does not define their hiring process, and certainly does not care one way or another what pit of non-response their candidates are tossed into. I will never apply to another position at Wells Fargo again.
