I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wendy's (Mississauga, ON) in Mar 2018
Interview
Fairly straight forward. My interviewer was direct, to the point. He was a little quiet at first, but after explaining and answering his questions he steadily began to open up, smile more and be less serious. It was through a government job help place, so every couple months they have hiring events that you can attend and these types of recruiters come out.
the process was straightforward - i met with the manager and was asked basic questions about myself and my job history. I was asked about my customer service experience in particular.

It was average fast food chain type of interview, it was easy & asking basic questions like availability and cashier experience. You’ll pretty much get in if you can do basic math
