I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Wendy's (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2024
Interview
It went fine and the process was pretty good. Had me taste test a Dave's big and juicy and I didn't like it. That probably hurt me a little. Chili was a little cold too. I think my standards might have been a little high for this particular restaurant. I'm used to managing Qdoba restaurants which is a little more elite in my opinion. Baked potatoes were good though.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
How was the Dave's Big and Juicy? How was the chili?
3 interviews.
Got connected with recruiter. Then 3 interviews with management team. Preety easy to follow along but very difficult questions for a simple restaurant. Too much in details, seemed like I'm applying to buy the business

Question 1
The background, had to have a restaurant experience
In store with regional manager it was pretty easy. It wasn’t a panel interview. They didn’t ask a lot of questions just a few about my resume. I was overqualified for the position so I did not get hired on.
Straightforward process. Asked basic "what would you do" question given some scenarios. They are looking to make sure you understand how to manage a team equitably and fairly. Overall an easy interview experience.
