I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Wendy's (Glendale, AZ) in Nov 2015
Interview
THe first interview was like you had to be honest. I explained myself of what and how I work with food in culinary. The manager explained to me of how the resturante runs. That i's very clean. and lots of the hiring managers like to come in to eat. When I answered the question of Why I should hire you? I explained my answer of how I can make somebody's day by smiling at them. I said that I can make somebody's day by just looking at them. Whether or not they are having a good day or not. Meaning that I can keep a postitive attitude. I am still awaiting for a call back by monday to see if I got the job or not.
Standard fast food interview. Gave experience, asked about availability, nothing really too special. Real easy interview. Its just fast food, so not exactly a hardball interview asking about Excel, advanced degrees, etc. The place seemed clean and interview was on time.
Interview was in the dining room of the restaurant, included being walked around store and being introduced to other crew members and given worker's authorization papers. Very low stress, asked about hobbies.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Wendy's (Mendoza) in May 2026
