I applied online. I interviewed at Werner Enterprises
Interview
Applied and then received a phone call to schedule an interview about 2 weeks later. Interviewed with another HR Generalist and HR Manager. Werner is a very masculine environment and seemed like it may be a good ole boys club.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were as expected. There were not a lot of behavioral questions. They were geared more towards what my current job entails. How many positions do I recruit for, hire per month? What area do I think I need the most improvement on? What is one contribution I am proud of.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Werner Enterprises (Omaha, NE) in Aug 2012
Interview
It was a "one and done" on-site interview. I met with the hiring manager and a senior member of the team for an hour or slightly longer. Both associates were down to earth and made me feel at ease. I asked questions about the company and was given detailed, thoughtful answers. They did a very good job of describing Werner as a place I would like to work.

Question 1
The questions were not overly challenging and most were typical for a professional interview. I was asked a few "technical" HR questions, a couple of personality-based questions, and more detail on my work history. It was a warm, friendly interview and I received an offer the same day.
