I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Whataburger (Alpharetta, GA) in May 2025
Interview
Was reached out to by a manager by text about 2.5 weeks after my application was submitted online, and scheduled an interview. Interview occurred in the restaurant lobby with the operating partner (others also had managers) and was quick, roughly 20 minutes. Wasn’t super formal or intense, and seemed like they were just confirming their decision based on my application. After some basic questions, the OP mainly discussed what the job is like, hours and pay ($14/hr), and set up an orientation date. Orientation took about an hour at a later date, where he discussed the company, dress code, core values, benefits, etc. and explained my training plan.
Pretty simple interview process. Canned questions and answers will get you by no problem. It was also short with about 5 questions or so that you can do in around 5-10 minutes.
