      Interview

The selection process consists of 3 stages: on-line test, video interview, and AC. The on-line test is numerical and arguably easy. The video interview was concentrated on work/internship experience rather than academic experience (which is weird because the program is targeted at fresh grads). AC in Italy lasts for two days and consists of 3 interviews, a group exercise, and a case presentation. AC is quite stressful, and some overnight work is required. There were about ten people from all over the world at my AC. You must be stress-resilient, sociable and confident to succeed.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Why did you choose your major at University? Who are your parents? Why Whirlpool? Why should we choose you? What is leadership? However, the interviews were unstructured, so there may be any questions.

      Interview

4 steps. 1. Test online. Easier then most of tests I took, barely needed to use calculator. Consists of basic quint questions and logic (e.g. what is the next picture in the row; which picture does not belong to group A and belongs to group B). 2. Phone call with HR. Walk through CV, motivation to work at Whirpool, knowledge of products and other brands, competitive position, SWOP analysis basically. 3. Skype with manager. Similar to phone interview, more focus on behavioural questions about you and not the motivation. No test of hard skills or anything. 4. Assessment center - did not go.
