      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Whirlpool Corporation (Findlay, OH) in Oct 2010

      Interview

There were many steps along the hiring process. It first started at the career fair where I basically handed over my resume and just made small talk, then I received a followup phone call for a 1:2 interview on campus which was mainly "tell me a time when.." without anything technical emphasized, a few weeks later I was brought onsite for a large group interview with other candidates. The candidates were split in two groups sending one to interview panels in the morning then the other to the shop floor for a team building exercise to show how you operate on the floor with assemblers; then both groups switch.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

There were no difficult questions asked. There were mainly behavioral questions and what do you want to be when you grow up type questions.
